Why a health coach approach?
Health coaches play a critical role in improving health because information is not enough to change behaviour. Most of us know what we should be doing , yet we still struggle to do it consistently. A health coach will partner with you, supporting and guiding you on your health journey.
How does a health and wellness coach help me in the long-term?
Health coaches are trained in evidence-based strategies of behaviour change, including motivational interviewing, positive psychology, habit formation and reversal, understanding the stages of change, accountability and goal setting. Coaching is about having an accountability partner who will support and encourage you through those difficult times when you feel like quitting. A health coach provides guidance and inspiration to continue moving forward so you can achieve your health goals.
How will I benefit from the health workshop?
The dynamics of a group, sharing and participating in a common outcome where learning, challenging, experiencing and growing becomes fun, exciting and meaningful. A group allows for wonderful support, encouragement and connection to take a new path and step out of your comfort zones, together. My job as the health coach is to facilitate the process, inform and guide you individually, without judgement, toward the path of living your best life.
